You can find the best Las Vegas deals hotels, suites, and more, without doing a lot of work. Las Vegas is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US, and with a little effort, you can travel in style for less than you might think. Here are some tips for finding the best hotel deals in Vegas.
How to Find the Best Las Vegas Deals: Hotels and More
Join Casino/Hotel Email Lists – Despite what many people think, not all deals are advertised on sites like Travelocity and Expedia. Many of the best deals at the MGM Grand, Bellagio, and Bally’s send their best deals to their email list members. Consider joining the email lists a few months before your trip so you can keep an eye out for the best deals.
Check with the Las Vegas Tourism Office – Las Vegas is known for its marketing campaigns—”What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas” comes to mind for many people—so don’t forget to check here for deals. There is a tab on the tourism office’s website that is dedicated to special deals. You can find sale prices on hotels as well as deals for restaurants and those famous Vegas shows.
Compare Deal Sites – There are dozens of hotel room deal sites, and they don’t always post the same offers for each hotel. Do a side-by-side comparison before you book a hotel room to make sure you are getting a good price for your room. You can also add car rental or plane tickets to get a discounted travel package. These sites are also great for last-minute deals, so don’t think that Las Vegas deals have to be planned out months in advance.
Pay in Advance – Many hotels will offer you a break on pricing if you pay for your room in advance. While this means that your hotel room stay will be nonrefundable, you can still save up to 30 percent on the cost of your room by paying ahead of time. The major hotels want to make sure their rooms are never empty, and by offering you a discount, they can make sure you won’t cancel your stay.
When you look for Las Vegas deals, hotels and casino suites aren’t hard to look for low prices. Be sure to do your research and compare prices before you book a hotel. You will be surprised at how cheaply you can do Vegas if you put in a bit of research ahead of time.

Always check TRIPADVISOR and other reviews before booking your hotel. A deal is not a deal if you get a crummy room, old, dirty and not kept up. Always look for room tips and follow up your deal by phoning the hotel and making a request for a good room—away from the elevator and drink machines and on the suggested side of the hotel. Ensure non-smoking and your bed request by phoning the hotel directly. Has worked for me–hotel staff are usually nice if your have made a request before arriving at the hotel and asked them to make a note of it.

Great tips! We always review hotels prior to booking. I like to ask for a room on a higher floor with a good view. I typically just talk to guest services once we arrive, but following up your booking with a phone call is great. You want to get the best room for your money.
